Terms
Gefywak. Effective November 6, 2026. One open day has three seats: a shell, a leg, and a foot.
The yoke
A wrap, shirt, or knit sits on the shell. A leg piece sits on the leg. A foot piece sits on the foot. A pin does not sit in a seat. Filing a piece, seating it, clearing a seat, and marking the day worn do not spend Bodkins.
Worn today
Worn today keeps the open day only when all three seats are filled and the set shares at most one piece with every worn set from the previous seven days. Two or three shared pieces stay on the open day, and the day name is written beside the button. An empty seat is named first.
The band and the occasion are optional. They never block Worn today, and they do not carry onto the next open day. A short note may say the shell is thin or heavy for the band, or that it is not tagged for the occasion.
Drape and stay
Drape lists a piece that was filed, then sat through at least four later worn days, and still has never been worn. Pins do not appear there. A stay is a copy of a worn day. Pulling a stay fills the open day. It does not spend Bodkins.
The pin
A pin can be kept only on a day that is already worn, and it cannot be one of the three seated pieces. The preview spends nothing. Confirming a new pin spends 1 Bodkin. Replacing a pin that is already kept does not spend another. Removing a pin does not return the Bodkin. Pinning that day again spends 1 Bodkin.
